Built in 1903 to commemorate Greta Harwood resident John Mercer FRS, pioneering textile chemist who invented the process of Mercerisation of cotton.
The town clock is a must see attraction, built in 1903, it showcases the best in Edwardian design. Other highlights of the town include beautiful walking and cycling routes, plenty of places to eat and drink, as well as an array of individual and unique shops
